Two libraries, one product
Shelf separates admin-published curriculum (/learn/...) from your personal collections (/my-content). The Learn section is SEO-indexed, browsable without an account, and organized as Subject → Topic → Article.
You do not need Learn to use Shelf. Many people only use private uploads — Learn is optional baseline material when it helps.
Reading curriculum articles
Articles render with familiar reader chrome: highlights on HTML where available, progress when signed in, and PDF attachments via presigned URLs with Range fetching.
When to use Learn vs My Content
Use Learn for shared syllabus-style coverage. Use My Content for coaching notes, marked-up PDFs, research papers, work docs, and anything Study AI should query privately.
Keep Learn open in one tab and your uploads in another when you want both.

Study goals for any track
Pick a study goal in Settings so Study AI tone matches your context — competitive exams, professional certs, or general study — without changing how you organize files.
/learn vs /my-content
Your private library lives at /my-content — uploads you control. /learn hosts admin-published curriculum: subject trees, official reading lists, and shared PDFs for competitive exams.
They do not mix automatically — import or copy links when you want personal notes beside curriculum.
Subject and topic trees
Curriculum mirrors real syllabus structure — Polity, Economy, History — with pages authored by Shelf admins or partner educators. Browse without signing in for discovery; sign in to save progress where features allow.

Using curriculum with your library
Read a /learn page in the same reader chrome as your uploads — highlights and Study AI work when licensing and processing allow.
Build personal collections for mocks and notes; use /learn for baseline material you should not have to hunt on Telegram.
SEO and sharing
Public curriculum pages are indexable — useful for students finding structured free content. Your /my-content pages stay private unless you explicitly share.
Updates
When admins publish new pages, they appear in the subject tree — no app update required. Follow Shelf announcements for major syllabus refreshes.

Who benefits most
Self-study candidates without coaching libraries, rural students with limited PDF access, and anyone wanting a sane default reading list before customizing their own library.
